Herewith you will receive a Copy of your account Current and Statement of Differences, as it has been settled at this Office, the Balance you will thereby perceive due to the United States amounts to five thousand & eighty nine Dollars of 19/100 after allowing your Salary, from 1st July 1795 to 30th Sept 1796: The deductions which have taken place are such accounts as are improper to be settled at this Office of which I informed you some time since.
