I have recd your Pay & Muster Rolls up to the 31st Octr 1796 — which have been examined; & the pay of the Officers & Men from the dates they were respectively paid to, to that day, have been made up — The Pay Roll amounts to 598 93/100 Dollars to which 272 Dollars, the amount of an Estimate for two months Pay so as to complete it for the present year, has been added — which sums are by this opportunity remitted to Lieut V. Fisher, who will pay them to 31 Octr agreeably to a receipt Roll forwarded to him; and for the subsequent period in the present year, you will muster them and make out Pay Rolls which he will examine & make the payments.
Duplicate Muster Rolls you will hereafter forward to this Office.
