On our way here, we found the road crowded with people going to Cumberland. That country borders on our land, and notwithstanding repeated [undecipherable] of protection in the [undecipherable] of our country, [we] have received from the United States — cannot keep [undecipherable] from [such] an unexampled immigration to Cumberland. Our Boundaries are not yet marked and settlers still [undecipherable] and make [undecipherable] on our hunting grounds and readily [undecipherable] in their ignorance of our limits.
