Supervisor at Richmond — since which The Sec. of War handed me your letter to him of the 25^th and to reply to that part thereof relating to your Pay for Oct^r last: The deduction took place in consequence of M^r Scoplet having informed that you had gone to the Northward, and requested your Pay might not be forwarded: — Agreeably to your request I now forward to Edward Carrington Esq^r.
