Document 1796The articles forwarded in response to Holt's last requisition have arrived except for 24 pounds of steel and fifteen large files. The steel must have been lost during the passage from Philadelphia to Manchester because the quantity delivered corresponded to the receipt the wagoner gave in Manchester. Enclosed is a letter from Adam Bowser on the stoppage of pay during the time of sickness.
