I enclose you an order on Mr. Harris for one hundred and sixty six pairs of Woollen Overalls, One hundred and sixty six pairs of Socks and one hundred and sixty six pairs of Shoes Large sizes — to be forwarded to Governors Island near New York for the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers —
As these articles are wanted immediately for detachments under orders for Norfolk and Charleston I request that you would have them sent off, to day if possible, by the way of Bound-brook and South Amboy —
