Sir
The Secretary at War by his letter to me of Yesterday, has requested that you might be authorised to purchase certain goods for the use of the Indian Store at Tollies Blockhouse. - You will be pleased therefore to take measures for procuring; And delivering to the proper persons — such an Asortment of the said Articles as are most wanted; observing however that the Cost thereof is not to exceed ten Thousand dollars, and that the money is to be called for at the Treasury in such manner as to keep pace with the purchases made.
