On a reference to the Auditors Statements, you appears to have recd your rations regularly from 1st Jany to 1st Augt 1796, & after that period to have your, as will appear from the above Copies of Provision Returns, drawn twice for the month of August; this I am convinced arose through mistake, and was not intentional on your part. You will therefore suspend drawing your rations for a subsequent month, and forward the Certificate of the Contractor to that Effect. Saml &c.
