On a reference to the Auditors Statements, you appears to have rec^d your rations regularly from 1^st Jan^y to 1^st aug^t 1796, & after that period you, as will appear from the above Copies of Provision Returns, drawn twice for the month of August; this I am convinced arose through mistake, and was not intentional on your part.
