I received your Letter of the 7th Inst. enclosing your Muster & Pay Rolls for Oct. 1796. The pay Roll has been examined, and after deducting six Cents therefrom (being an over-charge in James D Brown & Joseph Pettes' pay) amounts to One Hundred & seven Dollars & 54/100; which sum you will receive from John Chester Esq. Supervisor, Weathersfield Connecticut, on giving him duplicate receipts for the due application thereof. The Letter for Capt. Bissell will be forwarded by this day's post. —
