The importance of this Circumstance to you, must appear sufficiently obvious to take the most speedy mode of having it rectified. The original whereof has not yet come to hand.— As the money had been forwarded to Daniel Stevens for the Pay of the Regular Troops in Georgia including the month of August that month, deducted & the months of Oct^r added to your estimate, the amount being the same as before, Three thousand nine hundred & fifty two Dollars was last post remitted to Daniel Stevens Supervisor: Charleston to whom you will give your duplicate receipts.— I have not time at present to write you fully, which I will however do, as early as possible.— The Officers Accts you mention are under examination & I expect before next post day I shall be enabled to state the amount of them fully to you.
