Sir:
I wrote the 25th Ult.mo informing you that Maj.r Fleming had acquainted me he had rec.d a Letter from you respecting the bayonets and ramrods he asked me if, could furnish them at a lower price than those mention.d in your Letter; I informed him that I would supply them at the same prices, Viz: th bayonets at 6/10 and the ramrods at 3/9 Pennsylvania currency. If you conclude I should furnish them you will please write immediately, as I must lay in the materials before the Navigation of the Hudson is Stopt, which in all probability will be in less than a Month.
Your immediate reply is absolutely indispensible to my going on with the business.
