William Bleecker do hereby Certify that the [strikethrough: Certificate] [strikethrough: Certify the] under my hand and Seal dated the 20^th day of June 1796, purporting that on the said 20 June appeared before me George [undecipherable] a subscribing witness to a power of Attorney from one Samuel [undecipherable: Chapman] in favor of [John Brady?], and that I am well acquainted with the said Samuel Chapman and have known him for 10 years [undecipherable] upwards, and that the [undecipherable] to my hand and Seal are genuine, but that the Body of the Certificate is not of my hand writing and that I never subscribed the same, but that I am wholly unacquainted with the said Samuel [undecipherable] man, and [undecipherable] to be altogether ignorant of the facts stated in the said Certificate to me exhibited. The Certificate above referred to is marked with the letter W — And I also Certify that the Certificate under my hand and Seal dated the 9^th day of July 1796, purporting the appearance before me of one Jacob Hall subscribing witness to a certain power of Attorney from one Williams [undecipherable] in favor of [Timo] Brady, and that I am well acquainted with the said Jacob Hall and have known him for 15 years upwards it is genuine as far as relates to my name and Seal, but that the Body of the Certificate is not of my hand writing, and that I did never subscribe the same, and also that I am unacquainted with the said Hall and am ignorant of the facts stated in the said Certificate exhibited, time — The last mentioned Certificate referred to I have marked with the letter P + And I do hereby further Certify that the Certificate dated the first day of July 1796, purporting the appearance before me of Abraham Van Dick to subscribing witness to a certain power of Attorney from Nehemiah [undecipherable] in favor of John Brady, and that I am acquainted with the said Van Dick and have known him for six years and upwards is genuine as far as relates to my name and Seal, but that the Body of the said Certificate is not of my hand writing, and that I did not subscribe the same — and also that I am wholly unacquainted with the said Van Dick, and am ignorant of the facts in the said Deposition contained — The foregoing Certificate alluded to I have marked with the letter R [signature: Anth Bleickers] New York 9 Nov^r 1796 [S.
