Doctor Pfeifer has paid 68^80/100 dollars for transportation of his extra Stores — which sum I have placed to your Credit — Your letter of the 8^th instant was handed me by M^r Peter Barriere to whom I have and shall pay attention — Gen Wilkinson, is just arrived on his way to Phil^a. & Cap. John Heth is expected this day also on his way to Phil^a having a number of Indians Chiefs in Charge — This party I have to equip & mount on Horse back — the Horses I presume will be returned. Cap^t. Shaumburgh sent forward by the Gen^l. has been furnished with a Horse, his receipt for which is enclosed being accountable to you for Delivery.
