on this 10^th day of October 1796 came before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County of New Castle State of Delaware the to then named George Jauber and acknowledged the said Written power of Attorney to be his free and and desired that the same might be proved als [strikethrough: as] [undecipherable] [undecipherable], my hand and Seal the day and year before mentioned. Before J^no Sea. [marginalia left:] America personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the county of New castle the State of Delaware Samuel then one of the subscribing Witnesses to the Written power of Attorney and being sworn with due Oath declares and says that he [undecipherable] and Thomas Steen Signed to the Within Named Power of Attorney and Jauber that the Names of David and Thomas Steen and Jauber are the proper persons of the Whole were in the Nothing and doth hereby certify that dam in questions with Said Person and have [undecipherable] been upwards of 12 years. October 20^th 1796 Before J^no Sea. State of Delaware } I James Booth, Secretary of the said State of Delaware do hereby certify in all whom it may concern, that John Sea Esquire who hath subscribed the hereabove Certificates is one of the Justices of the peace for the county of New castle in the said State of Delaware duly Commissioned and sworn; and that due Credit and Credence ought to be given to such his attestations.
