Document 1796Simmons certifies that $153.36 is due George Moore and Richard Glover, spies ordered into service by Governor Isaac Shelby of Kentucky, being their pay for protecting the frontier of Logan County from March through May 1796.
Accountants Office Octr 18th 1796 I certify that there is due to George Moore and Richard Glover, Spies ordered into service by Isaac Shelby, Governor of Kentucky for the protection of the Frontier of Logan County said State the sum of One hundred fifty three Dollars & thirty six Cents being for their pay from 1st March to 31st May 1796 inclusive, which sum is payable to Meeker & Cochean Substitutes to Robert Barr Attorney to the said George Moore and Richard Glover.
