Mentges the Inspector, at the last muster he made of the Corps. — My absence at the time of the muster occasioned a delay in complying with that order. — I wrote to you on the 4^th Instant enclosing the Inlistments of two Recruits, since when I have engaged another, whose Inlistment I shall also forward to you, when I have paid him his bounty.
