Enclosed I transmit you a Statement of back pay and bounty said to be due to some men of my Company, which was called for by Coll. Mentges the Inspector, at the last muster he made of the Corps. — My absence at the time of the muster occasioned a delay in complying with that order. —
I wrote to you on the 4th Instant enclosing the Inlistments of two Recruits, since when I have engaged another, whose Inlistment I shall also forward to you, when I have paid him his bounty. When you send me the amount of my last account, I would thank you to forward a few blank Inlistments with Respect I have the honor to be
