Major Roberts being on his way to join the Army to the northward, has requested the loan of one hundred Dollars, for which he has drawn an order on you in my favor payable at sight. I take the liberty of inclosing the same, and of requesting, that you will be so obliging as to remit me in a Post Note by the Post. Requesting you will excuse the freedom, I am, Sir, very respectfully,
