In consequence of your letter of the 4^th inst. announcing that the Treasurer would transmit the Sum of One hundred and thirty One Dolls. being the Pay of Lieut. [undecipherable] Willson and his men for [undecipherable: probable reading Sept.] I immediately advanced that amount on his application, and have taken his receipt for the same, but the Sum has not yet come, or funds from the Treasury — Inclosed is my Account of monies received and paid on Account of the War Department from July 1^st to October 1^st 1796.
