In addition to Mr Cranch's Account for Dlls 2030 50/100 for cleaning & repairing Arms at West Point, which you returned to this Office, inclosed in your Letter of 5th Sept., certifying that the same was charged agreeable to Contract. — He had now rendered another Account of the same kind with the same prices affixed to the charges amounting to Dlls 655 42/100. I give you this information; that as you hinted, some examination may be made into the state of the Musquets at West Point; for the repairs whereof a very considerable sum has been already expended.
