Cranch's Account for Dollars 2030 ³⁰/₁₀₀ for cleaning and repairing Arms at West Point, which you returned this Office, inclosed in your Letter of 22^d September, certifying that the same was charged agreeable to Contract. — He has now rendered another Account of the same kind with the same prices affixed to the charges amounting to D^rs. 655 ⁴²/₁₀₀. I give you this information, that as you hinted, some examination may be made into the state of the Musquets at West Point; for the repairs whereof a very considerable sum has been already expended — I am, Sir, Your most Obed^t Ser^vt.
