Document 1796In addition to Mr. Cranch's account for $2030.50 for cleaning and repairing arms at West Point is Hodgdon's letter agreeable to the contract. Cranch has rendered another account of the same kind with the same prices afixed to the charges of $655.42. It appears that an examination is needed of the costly repairs of the muskets at West Point for which a very considerable sum has already been expended.
