The pay of Christian Goode was deducted from your former pay Roll; being returned by you, absent without leave; which in all cases are treated as deserters and their pay forfeited accordingly. — You have more sergeants than the Law will allow, notwithstanding; the whole have been allowed pay as sergeants on this settlement, it cannot be done in future.
