Legion has been examined & after crediting him for his pay &c up to the 1st Inst there is a balance against him on said account of Dolls 930 00/100, there is also due from him to absentes of the Corps of Artillerists & Engineers out of the Moneys recd by him for their pay for the Month of May 1796 the sum of 90 Doll making in all the sum of 1048 00/100, for which you will please to give the necessary directions to have refunded.
