Legion has been examined & after crediting him for his pay &c up to the 1^st Inst there is a balance against him on said account of Doll^s 930 ⁰⁰/₁₀₀, there is also due from him to absentes of the Corps of Artillerists & Engineers out of the Moneys rec^d by him for their pay for the Month of May 1796 the sum of 90 Doll making in all the sum of 1048 ⁰⁰/₁₀₀, for which you will please to give the necessary directions to have refunded.
