My pay, Subsistence for the month of August were duly rec'd, receipts given. The month of September elapses this day. I will thank you to transmit my pay &c to Col. Chester as usual. I have not yet entirely recovered my health. for this week past I have been confined to my room. I hope we shall have cold settled weather.
