I recd your letter of the 23d inst enclosing a Pay. Muster & Receipt Roll of the Garrison of Fort [undecipherable] from 1 Jany. to 30 June which will be examined and carried to your credit & that of Sergt John Toomey.
Inclosed you have Blank Muster, Pay & Receipt Rolls agreeably to your request. The draft in your favor drawn by Captn John Wade will be paid & the amount passed to his debit —
On the subject of your drawing for the Pay of the Troops at the Upper Posts of the Ohio. I have to inform you that you may draw Bills at 10 Days sight on the Sect of War for their Pay for the months of June & July 96, & they will be duly honored. — A letter of advice it is expected will accompany each Do.
