Philadelphia Sir The Sloop Maria Capt Corgell has Arrived at albany on the 16^th inst P.M. loaded with two Hogsheads and Nine Bales annuall present [undecipherable] do you call it? to the Six Nations of Indian. Next Day following thursday I unloaded the Sloop hired New Waggons and proceeded with them & Myself to Schenectady, and arrived there but Sun Set Safe. [undecipherable] Morning I waited on [undecipherable] Plano Whom I found Very unwell by an intermittent fever, and unable to Attend any Business. one of his [undecipherable] been absent [undecipherable] the Other [undecipherable], I had No Body to depend on but My Self. But After looking round a Little Well, I was Directed to a gentleman [undecipherable] Named [undecipherable] M[undecipherable] [undecipherable] them who has been Kind enough to help me to transact the [undecipherable], and on the Same Day We have engaged 1 3. Boats and eight hands to Carry the Goods to their ultimate address, at Least to Geneva, from Which place, our express Will be [undecipherable] to M^r Chapin immediately to [undecipherable] to take [undecipherable] possession of these Goods, and deliver them to the Six Nations. the Distance from Geneva to [undecipherable] is eighteen Miles only by Land. Capt [undecipherable] [undecipherable] [undecipherable] Waggons to have the Goods [undecipherable] to be here. * the One [undecipherable] with two thousand, two hundred Flints, together with the [undecipherable] Are gone on the boats has Left Schenectady Saturday following at two oClock in the afternoon. I have Got Left for a minutes time from the arrival of the Sloop until the boats were dispatched.
