I received your Letter of the 31st ulto enclosing you the receipt Roll of yourself & men for July and Pay, & Muster Roll for Augt 1796. The Rect Roll has been examined amounting to Thirty Dollars which will be passed to your Credit on the Books of this Office. The Pay of yourself and men for Augt 1796 amounts to Twenty nine Dollars 7/100 which you will receive from Edward Carrington Supr Virginia giving him duplicate Rects as usual & disburse the same agreeably to the enclosed Rect Roll. I am &c.
