[Extract of a Letter to Israel Chapin — dated 1st September 1796 — vide] Sir "Yesterday the Goods answering to the enclosed Invoices left this City on their way to you. I have consigned them in the first instance to Captain Houston public Storekeeper in Albany, and have directed him to send some person in charge of them, to deliver them to you, and have at the same time requested him to forward as much of the powder, lead, and flints as may be [underline: due], on the order delivered you, in the year ninety four.
