I have received your letters of the 8 & 9 Inst together with a recent Acct. and John Boyes duplicate receit for three Hundred Dollars out of my pay. — I must request that you would please pay to Mr John Boys a further sum of two hundred & fifty dollars. and the balance that may then appear due to me, on examination and settlement of my account. you will please to pay to Montgomery & Newbold, Grocers in North Water street. who will be directed to wait on you accordingly.
I pay these Gentlemen to Oblige merchants in this Town. who advance money to me Occasionally. — should the means of payment be inconvenient to you. please inform me
