Mr. Francis informs me that there are some silk sieves and perhaps some
other
articles purchased by him for the Garrison at West Point which remain in store waiting directions to be forwarded I will thank you to favour me with a return of them and I will send you the Secretary's orders immediately to have them trans-ported to West Point.
If it would not be too much trouble I shall be much obliged to you if you would, when the hurry of business or other cause, [undecipherable] neglect forwarding instructions respecting articles that have been purchased to be sent to any particular place, favour me with a line on the subject —
