Vischer Accountants Office West Point August 19^th 179[6] New York Sir I received your letter of the 13^th inst. enclosing a Muster Rolls for the month of June & Pay Roll for May, & July 1796. The pay Roll has been compared with the Muster Roll forwarded by Col^o Mentges and the amount found due being four hundred & ten dollars ⁵³/₁₀₀ you will receive from Nicholas Fish Supervisor New York for which sum you will be held accountabl[e] for the due application of the same agreeably to the enclosed Receipt Roll. Thomas Fisher enlisted 13^th April 1796 & was pai[d] by Captain Miller to the end of that month, consequently his pay commences on the 1^st of May. John Kelleys pay for the month of April was stopt as he was in confine- ment for repeated Desertions. I am &c.
