I have in answer thereto to inform you that your accounts as Agent to the Virginia Militia must first be presented to Presley Neville Esq^r P.M.G. who will examine them and report thereon, subject to a revision at this Office where they will be finally settled & entered. — In the mean time any Balance which you may have in your hands may be refunded to the Treasurer of the United States and the amount will be passed to your Credit on the Books of this Office. Your accounts & Vouchers may be forwarded to this Office where Col^o Neville will on his arrival in this City receive them.
