Portsmouth August 17^d 1796 Dear Sir I Should be obliged to you if you will favor me with a list of [undecipherable] timbers, an yet wanted to Complete your frame. I shall do my endeavours to supply you with as many timbers as possible from this yard, and also very plentiful, Beams and Think Stuff as you may be in Want of, together with the Live Oak Thereof — I conceive the White Oak Timber will be required for the Frigate about which I have not yet rec^d any information from Secry of War. — If M^r Gibbs have taken an account of the White Oak Timber not wanted in the Construction of your Ships I must request you to desire Cap^t Nicholson to forward it to me and am Sir with every sentiment of respect your assure Friend M^r Geo.
