Hagner, in answer to which I have to request that you will inform me the place you were stationed at with the Army, when you received your Furlough to go to Boston. when this Informa[tion] arrives orders will be given for the payment of your account agreeably to the settlement which will take place in conseque[nce] of such Information. Carolina             Sir I received the Letter of Thomas Robeson Dep^t Collector enclosing a receipt of Blakely & Vance for one hun[dred] Dollars on account of supplies furnished & to be furnished to the Recruits at Wilmington. The Receipt I delivered at the Sec^t of [the] Treasury's Office it not being proper to be forwarded to this Office. No Receipts are forwarded here except such as are for money advanced from this Department, of which I uniformly advise all persons concerned when any transmission of money tak[es] place.
