Agreeably to the Information contain[ed]
in the Letter to you of the 5th Inst. I enclose you a duplicate rect for
the payment made on your account to Mr. John Boys amounting
to three hundred Dollars for which sum you are held accountable on
the Books of this Office.
I now have to inform you that your pay Rolls
have been examined and after deducting therefrom your pay to be
settled in personal account, and the pay of Deserters and those
absent without leave, the balance amounting to five hundred
six Dollars & sixty four Cents, will be remitted to Edward
Carrington Supr Richmond for which you will sign duplicate
Receipts to be accountable for the due application thereof agreeably
to the enclosed Receipt Roll for pay to the 30th June 1796 inclusive
