Boston August 2. 1796
Sir.
I was very much dissapointed in not receiving my pay with Col. Claghorn and Captt Nichlcor, more especially when you observed to me in your letter of the 5th Ulto. "I should have it remited to me as soon as a Supervisor was appointed for the district of Boston." I will take it kind if you will give orders for payment by the return post.
I am Sir
Your most humble Servant
