On the examination & adjustment of your account at the Treasury, for the quarter ending December 31: 1795, as Accountant to the Department of War, the following errors were discovered — Viz —
This sum overpaid Capt. Michl Kalkeiser

This sum overpaid Samd Rodgdon Voucher
No. 465, arising from an overcharge

It being necessary and proper, that these errors should be corrected, you are requested, in any Subsequent settlements which may be made with the parties respectively, to deduct from the credits to which they would otherwise be intitled, the several sums above specified; taking care to make explanatory notes of the same, as well in the Books of your office, as in the Quarterly accounts to be rendered to the Treasury, in which the corrections may appear.
