In answer to your request I herewith give you my Price for building agreeable a Ship agreeable to the Dimensions in your Statement to carry Thirty Six Guns, say 538 75/95 Tons at Twenty Pounds p̄ Ton, exclusive of Head & Galleries, Iron work, Joiner work, in short I will find nothing more that is usual for Builders to find either in New York or Philadelphia to launch her in Ten Months.
I will take at a Valuation any Timber the United States may have to dispose of that will Answer the above Ship.
