You are requested to settle the account of Capt George Ingersoll for his pay and Subsistence and pay him the balance due him, out of the monies already into your hands by Lieut Dr Freemans on the following principles Vizt His Account is to be attested to before the Commanding Officer— He is to be allowed 15 Cents for rations from the day he was paid to by the Pay Master of the Army to the day he arrived at West point and after that period to the end of this last Month, at the Contract price at West point— He has received 100 Dollars on account which are to be deducted therefrom— His receipts on this Account after an examination by you will be as vouchers for the payment.
