Having been Obliged to keep back my Ansr
on Acct that some of my hands were out harvesting
& untill they came in I could not get my Vouchers
complete — enables me to acknowledge Your favor
giving me leave to go to Kentucky for which you
and the Secretary of War have my warmest Acknowled-
-gements — I shall not set out untill between
the 1st & 15th of August, being determined to have
the Stores here as safely Arranged as their Situation
are Capable of, and to give my friend Bedinger as
little trouble as possible
There being some Alterations since my
last Genl returns, I have thot it adviseable to make
you a genl return of all the Stores at this place
in Order that you may be enabled the more easy to see
the Stores on hand which is herewith forwarded.
Inclos'd is an old paper bill which I
presume must be [undecipherable: negotiated] at Philadelphia if so
please get it done for me.
The letter I had, [undecipherable] for you the
