Greenbille July 8^th 1796 Sir Your letter of the third ultimo I have just received, with regard to Serjeant Mr Booth, he has not been made up on the Rolls for pay since the 5^th of April 1794 at which time I commenced payment of the 2^d Sub Legion and having no documents in my hands for any payment previous, cannot give you any further information respecting him —— I am now engaged in making a pay- ment to complete the year 1795, as soon as finished I shall forward my accounts & vouchers to prevent any further difficulty in your settle- ment with the Soldiers —— I am Sir Your Mo^st Obed^t Serv^t, And McClary J^r Pay Master 2.
