So he is accountable for 30^o D^ol. ; he writes to you by the opportunity of M^r. Sprigg whom we Send to relieve you of the greatest part of your uneasiness Concerning the totality of the Sum — he will certainly tell you the Same excuse which he did to me that he had forgot a pocket book with Seven notes of fifty dollars piece. Direct me, Sir, in what manner I must act with that gentleman. I Wish 1^st J.
