Pittsburg 1^st July 1796 Sir Your two letters of the 23^d & 25^th no^s. are this moment received the former respecting the irregularities in my last Gen Return of provision which shall be attended to in compliance by the next post — The latter covering 1000 dollars in Post notes, respects my returns of Q^r M^r Stores which I am now endeavouring to make according to your wishes. This is accompanied by two Packets addressed to the Sec^y at War N^o 1 containing the Vouchers for the issues of provision at this post for the Months of April May and June 1795 & N^o 2 for July, August and September. Gen Wayne and to on board his Barge at 2 o'clock P.M. on the 29^th Ult. for Fort Washington — the new Lieut. is to embark on board his Bateaux this day at 2 o'clock for Head Quarters. Gen^l Wayne expected all the Indian Goods would have descended the Ohio before him and was astonished when informed that but a small part of the articles has get reached this post.
