Your letter of the 28th ultimo is now before me — My letter to you of the 27th of May 1795 was accompanied by Muster and pay Rolls of Captain Bissell, Capt Crawford, and Ensign McClary's Detachment for January and February 1795 — Ensign Martin's Detachment is also paid and his Receipt together with some other accounts of disbursements in the department of the accountant of the War Department will be transmitted by next post the balance then remaining in my hands will not amount to more than Six hundred thirty dollars — which is equal to the pay of the Troops at the upper posts for March 1795.
