In the absence of the Accountant I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 1st Inst. in answer to which I have to inform you that your Account properly stated and signed by you must be forwarded before a remittance can take place. As there is no Supervisor appointed at present, I would advise that you draw an order in favor of some person for your pay & Sub.ce This will meet with no delay, and on the other hand you would have to wait untill a Supervisor is appointed
