I received your letter of the 17 Inst together with the Accompanying vouchers & Schedule of your Payments which will be placed under examination and the amount found due will be placed to your Credit on the Books of this office. By this days Mail, you will receive from Saml Davis Clk in the War Office under cover in post Notes the Sum of Three thousand three hundred and Ninety Dollars & 90/100 being the balance (after Deducting 630 Dollars which you supposed would remain in your hands after paying the Troops upto the 1st of March) of the Estimate I informed you of in my last letter
