last long — Col' Hawards has requested, that you might be
directed to pay the absentees who have balances due them for
which Money was formerly in your hands by Nathaniel Freeman
Tenjis Pay Master — You will accordingly pay the several —
absentees agreeably to this list of Lieut Freemans taking their
receipts for the same which will be considered as vouchers —
for the payment and admitted to your Credit accordingly
Enclosed you have a list of detained bounties due to
the Men lost at West Point who marched on with Capt Bruff
from Davids Islands, which Sums you will pay agreeably
thereto and take their Receipts for the same,

the Examinations of Muster pay rolls of the Corps of Artillerists & &c
for the Months of May which will account for the difference of
