[#118] The Treasurer will likewise remit you the Sum of Two — thousand three hundred and thirty Six Dollars for the pay and forage of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers for the Month of May 1794 which fund also pay to George Fleming taking his receipts to be accountable for the just distribution thereof I am & W^m Simmons George Fleming Esq^r Department of War, West Point Accountant's Office, June 25, 1794 Sir I received yours [letter?] of the 4^th Inst: enclosing Col: Toussards Requisition for one hundred and a fifty four Dollars and the officers Receipts to whom the same was advanced. The Money has been forwarded to Capt Bruff from this Office to Albany for the pay of the Company for the Month of May so that your advances must be considered as for the Month of June you will accordingly receive from Nicholas Fish Esq^r Dep. P. M. Newport (to whom you will give your Receipts for the same accordingly) the amount thereof to refund you the same.
