The Treasurer will likewise remit you the Sum of Two thousand three hundreds and thirty Six Dollars for the pay and forage of the Corps of Artillerists and Engineers for the Month of May 1796 which Sum also pay to George Fleming taking his receipts to be accountable for the just distribution thereof I am &c W^m Simmons George Fleming Esq^r Department of War West Point Accountants Office, June 25, 1796 Sir Received your letter of the 4^th Inst^y inclosing Col^s Tousards Requisition for one hundred and fifty four Dollars and the Officers Receipts to whom the Same was advanced.
