Treasury Department Comptrollers Office 11^th June 1796.— Sir, I transmit enclosed, a receipt of John Habersham Esquire dated May 4: 1796, for Eighty nine Dollars, applied by him to defray the incidental & contingent expenses of the Department of War, in the State of Georgia, which receipt is to be annexed to a Warrant, to be issued by the Secretary of War, on the Treasurer, in favor of said Habersham, who is to be charged and held accountable for the same, in the books of your Office.
