well be forwarded to you without Delay, the Necessity for the Army's being no longer in arrears than two Months will appear by the Act of Congress of 7 June 1794 an extract whereof you have herewith — You will therefore make arrangements in such a manner as to forward the Estimates of the Troops in time, that the Money may be drawn agreeably to that act Your attention on this head is highly necessary — I am &c William Simmons — Accountants Office, June 11. 1794 — Isaac Craig Esq^r Pittsburg Sir, I Received your letter of the 3^d Inst enclosing an account current by which there appears a Balance in your hands of 630 D^rs which will be examined and if found right will be entered accordingly I have rendered to the Secretary of War an Estimate of the Pay Subsistence & forage of the Troops at the different posts of the Ohio for the Months of March, April & May, 1794 deducting therefrom the 630 D^rs in your hands leaves a Balance of 3,390 [undecipherable] D^rs which sum will be remitted to you as early as the state of the Treasury will admit — Blank Muster and Pay Rolls were forwarded by last Post.
